Facilities Resource, Inc. (FRI) is a Central Texas-based workplace solutions company specializing in the planning, furnishing, installation, relocation, and ongoing support of commercial environments. For nearly 30 years, we have partnered with organizations across corporate, healthcare, education, and government sectors to deliver workplaces that are functional, efficient, and built for long-term performance. We are more than a furniture provider—we are a full-service execution partner across the entire workplace lifecycle, helping clients turn complex projects into coordinated, reliable outcomes from concept to completion.

How We Go to Market

FRI goes to market as a workplace lifecycle partner rather than a transactional furniture dealer. We begin with a consultative approach focused on understanding goals, workflows, timelines, and budget realities before recommending solutions. From there, we collaborate with architects, designers, and facility leaders to align space planning and procurement strategy. We then execute through a fully integrated model that includes procurement, logistics, warehousing, installation, relocation, and ongoing service. By centralizing accountability under one partner, we reduce complexity, improve communication, and deliver more predictable outcomes. Our relationships continue well beyond installation through reconfigurations, expansions, and long-term facility support.

Our Story

Facilities Resource, Inc. began in 1997 when Margaret founded the company with a simple but powerful vision, to build a business rooted in service, trust, and doing right by clients in every detail of a project. What started as a small, relationship-driven company has grown over nearly three decades into a full-service workplace solutions partner serving organizations across Central Texas.

In 2011, Darren joined the company with a shared belief that FRI could be more than a traditional services company. Together, Margaret and Darren began shaping a new direction, one focused on transforming FRI into a next-generation service company that could support clients through every phase of the workplace lifecycle, from planning and procurement to installation, relocation, and ongoing support.

What unites them is not just ownership, but a shared commitment to hard work, accountability, and community. Their vision has always been to build something that lasts, an organization that not only delivers exceptional work, but also reflects their values as members of the Central Texas community they serve. Today, FRI stands as the result of that shared journey: a company built on trust, strengthened through service, and guided by a long-term belief that great workplaces are created through people, purpose, and perseverance.
